  • Class 1: Foundation

This is our entry level class. Dogs must be at least 15 months old. Basic agility control is taught in the early weeks through tricks and games, before moving onto some elementary equipment. A big objective of Foundation class is for dogs and handlers to start forming a strong bond as a team.

We reccomend that dogs have mastered some basic level of obedience before beginning agility classes. We can highly reccomend our neighbours at Hamilton Dog Obedience Club who are specialists in teaching these skills. You can find them at

  • Class 2: Basics

Equipment knowledge is increased, teaching jumping skills, and introducing contact equipment. Handlers will learn a range of handling skills.

  • Class 3: Skills

Improving handling skills and confidence on equipment. By the time dogs leave the Skills class, they will be in a position to start entering agility competitions.

  • Class 4: Development

The first of two levels for our competition dogs - building strong handling skills to help dogs and handlers to successfully start competing in agility competitions.

  • Class 5: Competition

Our top class for competing dogs. Our senior level and champion dogs train in this class.
